Ms. Sotiria Milla is an Agricultural Technologist (TEI of Crete) with a Master's degree (MSc) in "Plant Protection and Environment", (Agricultural University of Athens), which was founded with a Scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY).

She is a member of the Hellenic Entomological Society.

She has participated for more than 6 years in research projects of ELGO-DIMITRA (formerly ETHIAGE) in Heraklion, Crete, in Volos, Magnesia, and in the Head Office in Marousi, Attica, with continuous fixed-term contracts from 1995-2001.

She was appointed in 2003 to the Department of Organic Agriculture of the TEI of Epirus based in Argostoli, as an Special Technical Personnel (E.T.E.P.) in the Plant Protection position (Phytopathology, Entomology, In Vitro Culture), teaching the courses: General and advanced Phytopathology, General and advanced Zoology and Entomology, Systematic Botany and Biological Plant protection.

In 2016, she joined the position of Laboratory Teaching Personnel (E.D.I.P.). She has taught adjunctively and/or independently at the Department of Food Science and Technology of the Ionian University (and the former Department of Food Technology of the TEI of the Ionian Islands) the laboratory part of the courses Post-harvest pathogens and food enemies, Food Processing I & II, Technology and quality control of olive oil and fatty substances, Food Analysis and Arboriculture and Viticulture.

She has published 4 research papers in peer-reviewed International Scientific Journals and has participated with announcements in 2 International and 11 National Scientific Conferences.

Ms. Milla has also participated as a member of the research team in 4 research programs at the Department of Food Science and Technology.
