Eleni Sakantani is a Special Technical Laboratory Staff at the Department of Food Science & Technology of the Ionian University. She is a graduate of the School of Agricultural Technologies, TEI Messolonghi. Before her appointment, she had worked as an agronomist technologist at the Directorate of Rural Development of Kefalonia & Ithaca and at the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Kefalonia & Ithaca, while she has taught (laboratory associate) at the TEI of Epirus and the TEI of the Ionian Islands.
Her research interests focus on the technology and quality of food of animal origin, while she has published 5 papers in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and has participated in more than 20 international and national conferences. Finally, he has participated as a member of the research team in 4 research projects.
