Dr. Georgia Liosatou is a graduate of the Plant Production Department of the T.E.I. of Larissa (1999). In 2002 she completed her MSc in Crop Protection (Department of Tropical Agricultural Development) from the University of Reading and in 2011 she was awarded a PhD in Crop Protection from the same Department.
From 2000-2001 & 2002-2013 she worked as a Laboratory Associate at the Department of Organic Agriculture & Food Technology (former Department of Organic Agriculture) of the T.E.I. of the Ionian islands. In 2014-2016 she worked as a University Scholar in the Department of Food Technology of the T.E.I. of the Ionian Islands, and from 2018-today she works as an Academic Scholar in the Department of Food Science & Technology, School of Environment of the Ionian University, in various academic subjects.
As an Academic Scholar, but also in her previous capacities as a Laboratory Associate and University Scholar, she has supervised more than 180 degree theses by undergraduate students of the Department of Food Science & Technology of the Ionian University and the former T.E.I. of the Ionian islands.
